SANG-AYON BA KAYO SA DIVORCE SA PILIPINAS?

Kung kayo ang tatanungin personally,
sang-ayon ba kayo sa divorce sa Pilipinas?

Siguro para sa iba, this matter is not a big deal anymore
since most of the nations are legal na ang divorce.
Pero sa totoo lang, this breaks my heart.
From a nation that holds the tradition of strong family ties,
sacred church wedding ceremonies,
at ang matibay din na pagmamahal sa isa’t isa.

Nakalulungkot malaman na merong iba sa atin
ay tila nakalimutan o kinalimutan nang lubusan
ang halaga ng sumpaan sa harap ng Panginoon.

Kung maipatutupad man ito later on,
here are the possible things that might happen…

RATE OF BROKEN FAMILY WILL INCREASE

“Bakit naman tataas ang rate ng broken family?”

Think of this, if divorce will be legal in our country,
it also means that anytime, a husband and wife
can nullify their marriage at mag-pakasal naman sa iba.

Ang pamilya na nabuo nila sa umpisa ay masisira.
And we know that we, Filipinos, can hardly adjust with this.
Kasi mas masarap pa rin ang buo
at masayang pamilyang nagisnan.

Para rin nating sinabi na there’s no relationship
or family that is worth fighting for.

Para na rin nating binigyan ang sarili
ng option of cutting things out,
rather than working things out for the better.

MARRIAGE WILL NO LONGER BE EFFECTIVE AND VALUED

Sabi nila, ang sumpaan sa altar at sa harap ng Diyos,
“Let no man separate.” And this covenant is sacred.
Marriage is a union of a man and a woman, which is sacred.
And marriage is designed by God, holy and pleasing.

Para saan pa ang pagpapakasal
kung pwede namang i-nullify nang divorce?Nawala yung essence ng lifetime partner na may blessings.
Para na rin nating ginawang dekorasyon lang ang marriage
dahil maganda o  masarap pakinggan sa tenga.
Kung may iba sa atin na matibay pa rin ang paniniwala
sa kasal na sagrado at ang divorce ay hindi solusyon
sa pagsasamang nagkakalabuan, I think the best way
that we can do bilang mamamayang Pilipino is to…

CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR OUR LEADERS AND OUR NATION

We really need to unite in prayer and thanksgiving as one nation.
Praying for our leaders sa gobyerno at kahit sa private sectors
for wisdom, unwavering faith, understanding
and knowledge na may takot sa Diyos.

We need to give our best and try harder everyday to make our marriage
thrive and remain blessed with the Grace of God.
This is also to show how we love our nation.
That we cannot afford to see laws and people to be destroyed.
Lalo na kung ang pinanghuhugatan din nila ay ang pamilya.
