“Hindi dapat kailangang mahuli!”
But do we also know that for us to be truly happy in life
ay dapat walang inggit na dumadaloy sa sistema natin?
We can actually cut this poor mindset through:
BEING GRATEFUL ON WHAT WE HAVE
Sabi nga nila, ang pinakamasayang tao
ay yung nakaka-appreciate ng maliliit na bagay.
And I believe, this is also true with most of us.
Yung mga bagay na meron tayo ngayon,
be it appliances sa bahay, sariling kotse o high-paying job.
Lahat ng ito ay biyaya galing sa Diyos.
We must take care of it and put value to it.
At the very first place, pinaghirapan natin ‘yan!
And in one way or another, goals natin ‘yan na na-achieved.
Hindi naman porke ang iba ay meron
at tayo ay wala, hindi na tayo blessed.
We are always blessed in the way that God blesses us.
Minsan kasi masyado lang tayong naka-focus
sa kung ano ang meron sa ibang tao.
BEING THANKFUL ON WHAT WE HAVE RECEIVED

Imagine a person giving us a gift.
Tapos nung binuksan natin yung regalo,
napasimangot tayo at hindi na nagpasalamat.
Ano na lang kaya ang mararamdaman
nung taong nagbigay sa atin ng regalo?
Disrespected, rejected, unvalued for sure.
Baka sa susunod ay hindi na tayo bibigyan o reregaluhan.
So in everything, we must be thankful.
Kahit ano pa man ang matatanggap natin.
Sa paraang ito, later we know,
we are already setting up a mindset
na hindi naman pala kailangang mainggit,
angkinin ang lahat ng bagay para maging masaya.
BEING CONTENTED IN ALL THINGS
This is one of the secrets of those people who are truly happy in life.
They learn to be contented – sa family, sa career, sa buhay.
Yung hindi naghahangad ng sobra-sobra
beyond their capacity to earn for a living.
Naiintindihan nila where they stand
and where they are coming from.
They don’t entertain envy.
In fact, masaya sila sa mga taong mas
marami ang achievements kaysa sa kanila.
They think of others highly and emulate their accomplishments.
Kaya sana, ito ay magiging mindset din natin.
