Kilala Mo Ba Ang Tunay Mong Pagkatao?

Madaling gumawa ng mabuti at tama kapag alam mong may mga matang nakabantay at nakatingin sa’yo.

Pero, sino ba talaga tayo kapag walang nakatingin o nakabantay sa atin?
Integrity reveals who we really are when no one is watching.

We all struggle when it comes to doing the right thing.
Mahirap naman talagang magpakabait.

But the question is, how can we keep on doing the right thing even when no one’s watching? How can we have integrity in this fallen world?
Here are my thoughts:

FIND AN ACCOUNTABILITY PARTNER

Everybody needs somebody. Acknowledge that you need someone whom you can share your struggles to. That someone should be willing to rebuke us when needed. This person will prevent us from falling into sin. Tayo naman, on the other hand, should be open and teachable. Hindi dapat sumama ang loob natin kapag sinisita tayo or pinagsasabihan. It is for our own good.

ASK GOD TO HELP YOU

Aminin natin, may mga kahinaan tayo – nagkakamali at natutukso.
We commit mistakes, we fail, and we sin. We are not perfect.
It is only by God’s strength and grace that we can do what pleases Him, may nakatingin man o wala. We cannot do it with just our own efforts because we are sinful by nature. We need God’s help for us to have the strength to do what is right all the time.

LET YOUR LOVE FOR GOD MOTIVATE YOU

When you love someone, you’ll do anything just to please him/her, right? Hindi ka gagawa ng mga bagay na makakasakit sa Kanya o makakasama sa loob Niya. Our obedience to God is a reflection of our love for Him. We do what is right, not because we want others to praise us, but simply because we love Him. If we really love God, we will keep His commands and obey it.

Sino ka kapag walang nakatingin sa’yo?
Do you have integrity?
Do you struggle to do the right thing even when no one’s looking?
