BLESSINGS AT TAGUMPAY BA HANAP MO?

It’s day 4 of 365 this 2019!
Mga KaChink, kamusta ang first 4 days ng bagong taon n’yo?
May nagawa na rin ba kayong New Year’s resolutions?

Sa pagpasok kasi ng bagong taon ngayon,
marami-rami na rin ang iba’t ibang posts
sa Facebook, mapa-”My Day” man o newsfeed.
Idagdag pa ang picture of the day sa Instagram at tweets sa Twitter.

Masyado nang abala ang iba sa atin
sa kanya-kanyang life goals, mga plano sa buhay, at iba pa.
Ang daming gustong ma-achieve!
But before anything else,
have we realized why we do these things?

Anong purpose natin? Bakit tayo nagpaplano taun-taon?
Bakit may mga resolutions na kung tutuusin hindi naman lahat nagagawa?
Bakit gustung-gusto natin itong ulit-ulitin
sa tuwing sasapit ang bagong taon?

BECAUSE WE LOOK FORWARD FOR MORE BLESSINGS

Sino bang aayaw sa mga pagpapala at tagumpay?
I’m not saying this isn’t right.
But as we ask and wish for more blessings sa buhay ngayong taon,
ang intensyon ba natin ay para sa sariling pagpapayaman lamang?
Or more of helping people through the blessings we receive?

Kung pagpapayaman kasi ang pag-uusapan,
hindi ‘yan mahirap gawin lalo na’t grabe ang impact
ng technology ngayon sa mga negosyo.
Madaling kumita d’yan, lalo na kung online.
But as we pursue and make our dreams come true this year,
ano o sino nga ba ang sentro ng lahat nang ito?

MAKE THE GIVER AS THE CENTER OF ALL

This Giver I’m referring to is none other than GOD, Himself.
The truth is, if we want to become truly and fruitfully successful in life, we need the guidance of our God, our Heavenly Father.
Parang relationship lang din natin sa ating mga tatay dito sa earth.
Kung kilala nila tayo more than anyone else, how much more our Heavenly Father who created us?
At kung tayo ay naniniwala sa Kanya na tayo ay Kanyang mga anak,
bakit ipagkakait ng Ama sa anak kung ano ang meron Siya?

Sabi nga sa librong madalas kong basahin,
“If you, then, though you are evil,
know how to give good gifts to your children,
how much more will your Father in heaven
give good gifts to those who ask him!” (Matthew 7:11)

BECAUSE THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY

In the past, I always wondered and asked myself if ever I would become successful in life.
With all the hardwork and faith in God,
I have realized that I couldn’t be where I am now kung hindi ko Siya ginawang sentro —
ng buhay ko, mga plano, mga pangarap,
at kahit yung maliliit at silent prayers sa puso ko.

Kung gusto talaga natin maging matagumpay at mapuno ng pagpapala,
let us keep in mind that it is only God who can make all things possible.

As this Scripture says in Joshua 1:8,
“Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips;
meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful
to do everything written in it.
Then you will be prosperous and successful.”
