DOES IT SPARK JOY?

ang Tidying Up with Marie Kondo.
Siya ay isang Japanese na tumutulong
sa mga tao to declutter their things.

• Lalo na sa ating mga mahihilig maghoard…
• Ang daming gamit na nakatambak…
• Mga gamit na hindi na natin makita

sa sobrang kalat na sa bahay….

Basically, she’s teaching simplicity.
Tidying up para simple lang ang lahat
at gumaan ang pakiramdam sa bahay.

Pero bigla ko naisip na hindi
lang pala sa gamit na-aaply
yung linya niyang “Does it spark joy?”

Pwede rin pala sa tao.

Kung titignan natin ang mga
tao sa paligid, do they all bring
joy to our lives o sila pa mismo
ang nagiging pasakit at dahilan
kaya tayo nasasaktan?

If we answered YES sa pangalawa,
Here’s the question…
Do we need to let go of
those kind of people?

Yes, I think so.

Bakit nga ba?

KASI PATULOY LANG TAYONG MASASAKTAN spark

Getting hurt is sometimes okay
because it makes us strong.

But getting hurt INTENTIONALLY
by the person we love,
eh may mali na dun.

After everything that we have done
and still ang balik sa atin ay hindi maganda,
meaning, lagi lang tayo inaabuso,
pinagsasalitaan ng masasakit, o
tatratuhin na parang ang liit liit natin,
it’s time to let go because they don’t
bring joy to us anymore.

They make us feel small
na hindi naman natin deserve.

KASI TAYO RIN ANG MAPAPASAMA spark

If we don’t let go of those people
na sinasaktan lang tayo, lagi
silang nakabuntot na sa buhay natin
na parang anino.

Kada kibot at kilos, may masasabi sila.

And because of this, kapag sobrang sakit na,
maaaring may masabi tayong di maganda
sa kapwa natin.

“Gagantihan ko s’ya”
“Kala ba niya ‘di ko siya babalikan?”
“Karmahin ka sana!”

Instead of putting more gasoline
on an existing fire, be the water
na maghihinto sa init ng sitwasyon.

Ang solusyon dito
ay lumayo na lang and just
focus on the more important things.

KASI SAYANG SA ORAS spark

If we spend our time
na gantihan sila at isipin,
oras din natin ang nasasayang!
hindi sila worth it pag-aksayahan ng panahon.

A minute thinking about them
is a minute lost.

Ibuhos na lang natin ang oras natin
at energy sa mga taong nagmamahal sa atin
at nagbibigay ng importansya.

Sila yung mga masasarap
pagtuunan ng pansin.
Yung mga taong walang panghuhusga,
masaya lang, at magaan dalhin sa buhay.
