Minsan n’yo na bang naitanong

kung bakit kayo nagpapakasubsob magtrabaho?

 

Laging overtime sa office.

Bukod sa 8 hours of work in a day,

may direct selling in between lunch breaks,

meet up with clients after 5:00 p.m.

At kung pwede pang maisingit, may dagdag raket pa.

 

I understand that we all have our own ‘whys’

and why we do what we do.

 

Pero wala naman siguro tayong planong

patayin sa pagtatrabaho ang sarili ‘no?

 

A friend of mine shared a simple wisdom. It goes like this:

  • 1 day = 24 hours.
  • Therefore, we have 8 hours to work,
  • 8 hours to rest and 8 hours for relationships.

 

Napaisip ako… Oo nga ‘no?

 

Kung aabusuhin natin masyado

ang ating sarili, maaaring…

 

MAPABAYAAN ANG SARILI

Pati sa pagkain sa tamang oras, nakalilimutan na.

Kahit pag-aayos sa sarili nang tama,

hindi na magawa dahil lagi na lang overtime.

Pati ang time for self over na rin.

 

Huwag hayaan na maging ganito.

 

Dapat gawin?

 

MAGKAROON NG “ME” TIME

Marami akong kilala na mahilig i-date ang sarili.

I just found out na kailangan din natin ito.

 

Aside sa usual bonding time with our family and friends,

we also need to be with ourselves and unwind.

 

A walk in a beach, a cup of coffee

o kaya a quiet time reading a book in a veranda will do.

 

In this way we can reassess, redo

and improve our lifestyle into a healthy one.

Tendency? Poor health can indeed affect your work performance.

Naniniwala ako na health is wealth.

 

Aanhin natin ang milyones na naipon sa pagkahaba-haba ng panahon

kung bedridden at lagi na lang na-oospital?

 

We cannot enjoy! So why not…
