Nalalapit na ang Araw ng Undas.
Most of us, siguradong dadalawin ang mga mahal sa buhay na namayapa na.
Pero minsan ba, sumagi sa isip natin ang mga tanong na ito?
“Am I ready?”
“Do I know where I am headed?”
“Do I have regrets?”
Marahil bata ka pa at hindi pa sumasagi sa isip mo ang tungkol sa mga ganitong bagay.
Walang nakakaalam kung hanggang kailan tayo mabubuhay. Pero aminin man natin o hindi, darating rin ang araw na doon din lahat patungo.
Kaya naman, napakahalagang masulit natin ang ating buhay – maging makabuluhan ito habang tayo ay nabubuhay.
Kung gusto natin magkaroon ng kabuluhan, ito ang mga dapat natin itanong sa ating mga sarili habang tayo nabubuhay:
DID I MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
Did I matter? Kapag nakahimlay na tayo, maganda ba ang masasabi ng ibang tao sa atin?
Did we change somebody else’s life? Did we help others grow? Did we influence someone positively?
Kawalan ba tayo sa mundong ito?
Ano ang naging contribution natin for this world to become a better place?
DID I LIVE FULLY?
Do you know your purpose in life? Are you living it?
How did you invest your life?
Are you fulfilled and satisfied with your life?
Have you accomplished your goals and mission in life?
Do you have any regrets or “what if’s”?
Did you enjoy every single moment of your life?
Have you maximized your strength, talents, abilities, time, and resources?
DID I LOVE UNCONDITIONALLY?
Paano tayo nagmahal?
Did we love without prejudice?
How’s our relationships with our family, spouse, kids, parents, siblings, friends, co-workers, and neighbors?
Did we love openly?
Nararamdaman pa ba ng mga mahal natin sa buhay na mahalaga sila sa atin?
Naging selfless ba tayo or selfish?
Higit sa lahat, how’s our relationship with the Lord?
Did we honor Him in everything we do?
Did we love Him with all our hearts, soul, and mind? Or we took Him for granted?
Let us ask ourselves these questions because we will never know when we are going to leave this world.
Isang beses lang tayo mabubuhay. We should make sure that we made a difference, we lived fully, and we loved unconditionally.
